Training at Hengstler
Training at Hengstler, like the company itself, has a long tradition. Since our founding, we have been giving young people the opportunity to complete their training with us. Many of our former trainees still work at the company today and are highly valued employees in a wide range of areas. There are always more than 10 trainees at the company, who are competently supported by our trained staff and our training supervisor. For technically oriented vocational training, we have our own training workshop where workpieces can be produced, and experiments are carried out.
As an internationally oriented company, Hengstler can offer young people a lot. We produce for customers all over the world and ship packages daily to every corner of the globe. We negotiate with Asian suppliers, respond to American customer inquiries, and complete our monthly financial statements according to French law as well. All of this we report to our parent company in the USA. At the same time, Hengstler has a long tradition in the region. For many years, we have maintained close cooperation with local schools, dual universities, and educational institutes, offer sponsorship awards, and participate in regional trade fairs. We regularly support projects by students and pupils from the area.
As diverse as we are ourselves are the opportunities for training. Currently, the following types of training are possible with us:
- Technical or commercial vocational training
- Internships for school, during university studies, or as preparation for university
- Combined study program (Studium Plus)
- Studies at a Dual University
- Project and thesis work
- Practical phases during retraining or university studies
